SAN ANTONIO, TX - The results are in and the readers of Condé Nast Traveler magazine have spoken! The Westin La Cantera Resort was again named to Condé Nast Traveler’s prestigious Gold Lists of “The World’s Best Places to Stay” in the magazine’s January 2005 issue. More than 20,000 Condé Nast Traveler’s subscribers voted for their favorite hotels, resorts and cruise lines around the world to make up the winners in the magazine’s 11th annual Gold List.
The annual Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Poll ranked properties on rooms, service, restaurants, location and activities. The Westin La Cantera Resort remains atop this very prestigious list for the fourth consecutive year, after débuting on the list in 2002 with additional top honors from Condé Nast Traveler’s “Top 30 North American Resorts” and one of the “Top 50 Golf Resorts in the U.S.,” The Westin La Cantera is among 50 other Starwood properties listed and is the only resort property in San Antonio to make it on this elite list.
