Our Meeting Service Standards were developed to enhance the Starwood meeting experience by delivering a more consistent, higher level of service across our leading event destinations. These standards ensure the same pre- and post-meeting procedures, on-site protocols for staff, and identical paperwork at each property - regardless of your group's size.
StarMeeting Concierge Working under the direction of the Convention Services Manager, the StarMeeting Concierge will be available to you, your staff, and your attendees during every stage of your event. He or she will be fully aware of all group activity and will be empowered to solve any problems that arise. Every StarMeeting Concierge's most important job will be to ensure your satisfaction. On-Site Management In addition to a Manager on Duty available at all times, improved standards ensure that the General Manager, Convention Services Manager, Sales Manager, Banquet Manager, Banquet Captain, and StarMeeting Concierge will be involved in your meeting right from the start. Each manager will know the details of your group and your agenda, and will be empowered to solve problems and proactively work to prevent them. Precise Execution Pre- and post-event meetings guarantee clear communication between your staff and ours, as well as precise execution of your needs. Pre-event meetings will be attended by key managers, and post-event meetings may be conducted either on-site or via phone. Upgraded Communication Enjoy accelerated response time and expedited service thanks to complimentary house phones in every meeting room. Qualified planners, as well as all managers, are equipped with cell phones/walkie talkies - meaning you're never out of touch. Universal Documentation We've streamlined the paperwork process by replacing individual forms with straightforward, universal documentation. One standard Banquet Event Order (BEO), Group Resume, Post-Event Report, and meeting room diagram format will be used by all hotels. We'll make things even faster by e-mailing these documents to you rather than faxing or mailing them. |
